About Us
A Visit to Remember
Tenuta Nissole was founded by like minded tourists, people who share a passion for traveling and exploring. Service and simplicity are at our core; when you book a room with us, you’re guaranteed to have a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
In the local Piemontese dialect, “Nissole” (Nocciole in Italian) means hazelnuts! From the moment you walk in the door, you’ll feel the special Tenuta Nissole hospitality. Located just outside the historic town of Rocchetta Tanaro, and near its National Park, our Country House has splendid views of the surrounding forests yet is only a short drive to nearby towns such as Asti, Nizza Monferrato or Alba. The house features many of the typical Piemontese characteristics, such as brick vaulted ceilings and thick stone walls. The air-conditioned rooms are bright, airy and from which you can enjoy the views of the narrow valley and surrounding forest.
It will be our pleasure as hosts to suggest places to visit. We live in the property, so are available anytime to arrange wine tastings as well as visits to nearby producers!
